  • 1 (Monday) — Labor Day (schools closed)
  • 2–3 (Tuesday–Wednesday) — Staff reports; students not in attendance
  • 4 (Thursday) — First day of school for students
  • 17 (Wednesday) — Evening parentteacher conferences for elementary schools, pre-K centers, pre-K–5 and K–8 schools
  • 18 (Thursday) — Evening parent-teacher conferences for middle schools and District 75 schools
  • 23–24 (Tuesday–Wednesday) — Rosh Hashanah (schools closed)
  • 25 (Thursday) — Evening parent-teacher conferences for high schools, K–12 and 6–12 schools

October

  • 26 (Monday) tentative — Professional development for high schools and 6–12 schools; students in these schools do not attend
  • 27 (Tuesday) tentative — Spring term begins for semester-based schools

March

  • 26 (Friday) — Last day of school for students, teachers, attendance teachers, nurses, therapists, lab specialists and paraprofessionals
